Prof Rasko talks Gene Therapy on ABC radio

The gene therapy that could transform the lives of millions.

Robert Lamberth (right), received gene therapy for the genetic disorder, haemophilia A.

Robert Lamberth was born with a genetic disorder that meant his blood didn't clot properly. Throughout his life he received regular transfusions of the clotting factor his body was unable to produce in adequate amounts. But about three years ago he received a single injection that changed everything.

Listen to Prof Rasko talk gene therapy with ABC radio national’s Tegan Taylor on the ABC radio website.
